You have the forming results. Now someone wants a presentation. Before filling slides with every contour available, decide what you need to explain: the setup, a problem region or the effect of a change.
I will use a straightforward export workflow here. The supplied 2025 release notes also mention PowerPoint Reporting Tool 3.1.8, but they don’t contain its full operating instructions.
What does the package include?
The release notes say that version 3.1.8 of the reporting add-on is delivered in the package. The Installation Guide documents a POWERPOINT installation property, with FALSE as its default in the command-line table.
If you want to use that add-on, check whether it was installed and use its own matching guide. I am not inventing ribbon buttons or template steps that the supplied notes don’t describe.
You can still prepare the report through the normal image, table and curve exports below.
Prepare one comparison figure for the report
Open the intended state, choose the contour and set a readable view. For two variants, keep the same scale and viewpoint.
Use Image Reporting to save the figure with sufficient pixel dimensions. Open it at the intended slide size and check the legend. PNG is a useful starting choice for text and lines.
In PowerPoint, insert the saved image onto the slide. Add the actual variant, state, quantity and one observation supported by it. Keep the interpretation close to the figure rather than burying it several slides later.
Add numbers where they help
Use Report Table for selected node coordinates or element contour values, and retain the HTML report with the study. For curves, keep exported data as well as the plot image.
A small selected table may communicate a comparison better than several additional contour screenshots. Identify its units and measurement locations.
Give the report a simple order
Start with the question and relevant setup. Show the baseline, then the changed case, then explain the difference and what remains unresolved.
Keep runtime or accuracy claims tied to actual measurements. A completed simulation is not the same statement as agreement with a test.
The image-export post goes through figure preparation in more detail. Those same exports can be used in your WordPress article, so the reporting work does not have to be repeated from scratch.
